A: #worstdayever is a product that includes three-volume series. The stories center on a diverse group of high school sophomores navigating relationships and challenges facing that group of kids. Pre-teens and teens will absorb growth mindset lessons in a visual format they already love. Our graphic novellas show readers positive role models they can relate to. The characters use growth mindset principles to meet and overcome daily challenges that most tweens and teens experience.
Inside Lucy vs. The Shadows
This story talks about how after accidentally causing a blackout at school, Lucy learns she’s “Enlightened,” a person with the ability to control elemental energy. She’s whisked away to the Enlightened Training Institute to begin learning how to wield her powers. It won’t be easy. Lucy learns that she has a unique power that everyone has been waiting for. As “The Beacon,” Lucy will have to wield her light energy to defeat “The Shadows,” former E.T.I. students who have turned evil. With support from her friends Samira and Aaron and training from her teachers, Lucy begins learning to control her powers. When the Shadows attack, she’s ready. The battle is intense, but Lucy is able to escape the shadows and finally taps into her healing powers to save Aaron. The Enlightened have won the first round, but they know this is only the start of their struggle.
