Love the reflection prompts
My kiddo is very smart, kind, funny and talented, but he has always struggled from a very early age with being too timid to try things he thinks are “too hard” and often gives up easily if things don’t come naturally. It affects his ability to try to learn new things at school and even his willingness to do sports and competitive activities in a group (although he thoroughly enjoys and excels at each of those things in the comfort of our own home). We’re only about 1/2 through the book so far but he really seems to enjoy it. I love how the reflection activities involve both the parent (or grandparent buddy, sibling etc) and the child, it really helps the kids to see examples of how adults also struggle and overcome things. He has really enjoyed the activities and stories so far.

Great Relationship-building time with my Grandson
I originally ordered this for Christmas for my 7 yr old grandson, who lives some distance away in Colorado. He loved it, the questions and the pictures!!! He also decided I should be his “journal buddy.” So I ordered one for me and we work on them, talking and coloring, together over FaceTime. It’s awesome.

Best think ever. A must have for every child.
This is the 2nd year my son has received his Big Life Journal. I got him his first one for his 7th birthday. This has now become an annual tradition and one which I will keep always. I wish I had a journal like this growing. The game-changer for us has been the new journal buddy series that now goes along with the stories and chapters. My son loves doing the journal and videos together. Last year it was a challenge to get him to complete his first journal. This year, he has done it in 5 months! I love to reflect on last year's journal and what he has completed this year and see the changes he has made with descriptions, examples, writing etc and how far he has come along. It truly is one of the best gifts ever to have for life. WE LOVE BIG LIFE JOURNAL. Keep up the great work.

My 9 year old LOVES her journal
My 9-year-old struggles with a bit of anxiety. We started listening to your podcast and she loves it. She was gifted with your journal at Christmas and really enjoys it as well. It has helped her growth mindset thinking and she shares ideas with her teachers and friends at school. Thank you!

7 year old loves it.
We gave this to our daughter for Christmas. She asks to write in it daily and loves coming back to the tougher questions to try to figure them out. I was worried she might get frustrated, trying to grasp some of the more abstract concepts (She struggled at first with examples of someone believing in themselves) but she has really risen to the occasion and surprised us. Great purchase. Also getting her writing more which is a huge plus.
