Zara and Leo are hosting a hop-on, hop-off boat tour around the Caribbean islands, but things are getting a bit out of control. Learn how to let go and have fun, even when things don’t always go the way you want to them.

      • Hidden Figures (2016) PG Based on the true story of three of the first Black women at NASA, these “human computers” helped send the first American into orbit. The story teaches that when you have a grand vision, your success starts with the right mindset.
      • Cars 3 (2017) PG No matter how old you are, you always have more to learn; regardless of your gender or what you look like, you should be allowed to compete and reach for your dreams!
      • The Color of Friendship (2000) NR  This Disney Channel Original Movie is set in 1977 and tells the true story of two girls: Mahree, the Black daughter of a congressman from Washington, D.C., and Piper, a white girl from apartheid South Africa. The two end up learning more about each other's countries than they could have ever imagined.

      1. The Circle of Control poster can help your children overcome disappointments and frustrations, and focus on the problem-solving instead.

      2. Encourage your child to practice growth mindset affirmations, and remind them that putting forth effort and trying different solutions will help them solve the problem and reduce their stress.

      3. Encourage journal writing (or journal drawing for younger kids). Check out the Big Life Journal 2nd Edition for children ages 7-10. This beautiful journal is filled with encouraging stories, space to draw, and fun writing prompts. It’s designed to help children believe in themselves and cultivate a growth mindset.
