Homeschool Charter Funding
Did you know many homeschool charters offer funds to help enhance your child’s education?
As an approved vendor, Big Life Journal offers products that help cultivate self-esteem, goal-setting, and emotional intelligence in your children.
What is a Homeschool Charter?
Homeschool charters partner with families to provide funding and educational support while allowing parents to co-educate their children at home.
These programs often allocate funds to purchase instructional materials, such as Big Life Journal’s popular journals and activity kits.

- Work with your education specialist to identify learning goals and select the right Big Life Journal products.
- Submit your purchase request to your charter via their approval process (this typically takes about two weeks).

If you have an Education Savings Account (ESA) through your state or local government, you can use your funds to purchase Big Life Journal products that support your child’s emotional and academic growth.
What is an ESA Grant?
An ESA allows families to use public funding to cover various education-related expenses, such as educational materials, tutoring, and resources like Big Life Journal.
How to Use Your ESA Grant
We’ve created simple, step-by-step instructions to guide you through the process of using ESA grants to buy Big Life Journal products:

Florida’s Family Empowerment Scholarship (FES)
We understand that navigating the Family Empowerment Scholarship (FES) program can feel overwhelming. As a vendor, we’re here to simplify the process for you.
Follow these three easy steps to purchase your products and submit them for reimbursement using your ESA (Education Savings Account) funds.
Step 1: Purchase Eligible Products Select the products you need for your child’s education from our approved catalog. Make sure to keep a record of the order confirmation and the receipt, as these will be required for the reimbursement process.
Step 2: Submit Your Purchase for Pre-Approval (Optional) For added peace of mind, you can submit your intended purchases for pre-approval through the Step Up for Students platform. While this step is optional, it ensures that your items are eligible before completing the purchase, avoiding any reimbursement issues later.
Step 3: Submit for Reimbursement Once you’ve made your purchase, log into your Step Up for Students ESA account. Upload the required documents (receipt and order confirmation), along with any additional information requested by the platform.
The system will process your request, and once approved, the funds will be reimbursed to your account.
